Frequently Asked Questions

Below are frequently asked questions for The Center. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to us at thecenter@camdencc.edu.

Must I attend all of the 5 sessions in a mini-course or can I pick and choose which sessions I would like to attend?

Once you register for a mini-course, you may attend any or all of the sessions.

Must I register in advance or can I show up the at an event?

For Mini-Courses: Registration and payment are required before the attending a session (live or virtual).

For Lectures and Events: We strongly recommend registering in advance. You may register the day of the event, but advance registration allows us to notify you if an event has been canceled or if there are any changes in room assignment, etc.

How will I know if a course has been canceled?

We will contact you as soon as possible. If we are unable to reach you, a sign will be posted on the door of the classroom or auditorium for all in-person events.

I am an educator and would like to receive credit for my attendance. What do I need to do?

Indicate on the registration form that you are an educator and list your school district. You will receive a certificate at the end of each session you attend.

How many professional development credits can I receive?

Each mini-course is comprised of five sessions, earning 3 professional development hours. If you attend all five, you will receive fifteen professional development hours for that course. You may also choose to attend only specific sessions, and you will receive 3 credits for each.

Where are the sessions held?

Currently, all of our courses, lectures and events are offered virtually. Once we are able to offer live in-person events, they will take place in either the Connector Building or Madison Hall on the Blackwood Campus, the CTC Building at our Camden Campus, or at the William G. Rohrer Center in Cherry Hill.
