NJBIA Basic Skills Training

Now in its 15th year, NJBIA Basic Skills Training has been made available through a partnership between the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, and the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

Requirements:
To attend this training, you must be currently employed in the state of New Jersey. Public employees and those who are unemployed, are not eligible to participate.

Training programs include:

  • Communications – Verbal & Written
  • Customer Service
  • Business Etiquette & Personal Professionalism
  • Team Building

Open Enrollment Classes

Individuals can attend open enrollment classes with other employers, scheduled at our campus locations.

For a dedicated class, a minimum of 10 employees must attend and complete the required hours for each course. Classes can be delivered at your site, or at any of our campus locations. Times and dates are flexible and designed to suit your needs.
